Believe In The Beauty of Your Dreams

Everyone is born with dreams that are meant to come true. Your dreams give your life purpose and meaning and connect you to the ideas and activities you feel passionate about. Being able to articulate your dream empowers you with a sense of inspiration, motivation, excitement, creativity and courage. Pursuing your dream leads you on the most exciting journey of all -- the journey of self-discovery.

If you could truly have whatever you wanted, would you know how to go after it? Do you have what it takes to make your dreams come true? Women who are achieving their dreams have these characteristics in common:

They know what they want because they have taken the time to listen and uncover their true values and passion.

If you're not sure what your passion is, make a commitment to start investigating what brings you joy and what your special talents are. Reconnect with your most fulfilling experiences and translate them into new opportunities. Begin by asking 5 friends what they think you are really good at and why. Complete a life timeline. Reflect back on all the things you have accomplished, what you really enjoyed doing and what brings you satisfaction. Being able to articulate your true values help your dream take shape.

They have a sense or feeling that they deserve to have their dreams come true. They are not weighted down with excess baggage of fear, guilt and self-defeating thought patterns.

Are your own thought patterns holding you back? Take conscious notice of what your inner voice tells you when you are about to take a bold step. Becoming aware of your beliefs toward what you feel you deserve is the first step to changing that belief. To achieve your dreams you will need to break out of preconceived ideas of what you can't do and imagine all that you can do. Free yourself from your rational brain and dare yourself to new levels of greatness.

They solve problems creatively and assertively, finding ways and resources to help them bring their dream to fruition.

Open your mind to new possibilities. Expand your thought processes. Search out role models and mentors. Create a support group to help you create strategies to overcome barriers. A dream comes true when you know what you really want and follow an achievable action plan. Attracting everything you need to make your dream come true requires a strong personal foundation, the ability to communicate effectively, choosing wisely and adding value. The saying you've heard so often is true... "If you can dream it.you can achieve it!"

They are willing and committed to take time to get what they want.

Being willing means having the readiness to allow or have a result. Commitment is the act of willing by doing whatever you must do in order to achieve your desired result. What is your level of commitment? Rate yourself on a scale of 1 to 10 on how committed you are to your goal. Begin by creating the space in your life for your highest priorities. Decide what action step you can take toward your dream and make a promise to yourself and honor it. Experience the power you feel when you keep your promise. You're one step closer to realizing your dream.

Dreams come in all shapes and sizes. Enjoy the beauty of your dreams and begin to create a new, fulfilling future. It was Emerson who said, "Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined!"
